CSA stands for “community supported agriculture”. Being a part of a CSA is kind of like subscribing to a magazine. One reserves a share at the beginning of the growing season, and in return receives a weekly “share” of the farms harvest for 16 weeks. Consumers create relationships with the farmers that grow their food, part take in the risks and bounty of agriculture and by pre purchasing or reserving shares at the beginning of the season the farmer is economically aided at the most expensive time of the year. There are several options for a CSA share at Peaked Moon Farm.
